Thanks to Kristi and all the SimSnob friends who mailed and motivated and helped me through a tough time...THANK YOU SO MUCH. I hope the snobs will always bring joy in your Simslifes!!! More news: 25/6: I had to disable all downloads temporary in order for receiving more time to remove the site to a new host. I am sorry for the inconvenience, but I need all the help I can get now in order to keep the site open. I have tried TSR as a new option, but they already host 200 sites and not taking in new applications. The only option that remains, is to buy space...again. I am trying to get the most reasonable package, as I simply will not be able to carry such a cost for a period of time! I have contact a provider of unlimited band width and I am waiting for them to respond. There is nothing I would like more than to keep on providing every one with free downloads for as long as possible, so please help me in this matter by understanding. I have time untill Wednesday!! I am a bit dazed, and if there's not help from somewhere, it seems I will be forced to close this site. I am so sorry, I had really done my best to keep on and always bring you all the best service, but to move three times in a month is not funny any more. 24th June At last...I can give you some new goodies.. The silly graphics problem was fixed but unfortunately it affected the normal functions of my paint program, so I suppose I will have to fix that as well...hmmm, I tell you, those gremlins... What's new? I have made you all the necessary objects to build your own boutique for your Sims at home. Go here to find it. Make sure to visit the SKINS- department, there's some news about....no, let Yvette tell you all about it. You will notice a little icon that will lead you to all the hush-hush when you enter the boutique.... Monica will take off all the downloads at the end of the month at S4F. 20th June Well. they say it never rains but it pours...Seems there's a little gremlin in my studio making use of night times, when I go to bed before 2:am, to spread chaos on my pc. This morning , as I started my computer, I had a screen looking like the negative of a movie...icons so big they didn't even fit on the desktop! It was fixed late this afternoon, but needless to say that a whole day passed without any productivity. The bad news is that I have a real life job that went way behind schedule to move the Snobbies...so, first priority now is to catch up as there's taxes to be paid before the 25th of the month. To end my sad story, only some of the planned updates will be ready before the week-end. I am planning in opening the art gallery for the Sims...at last! As far as the modelling competion goes, no new interviews before the week-end. All members will be notified by mail when the updates are ready. Sorry guys, but that's life! 18th June Thank you so much for all the wonderful messages! Please take note that a mailing list has been added on request. 16th June Here we are, the worst of the move to our new home is over (I hope..) and apart from all the departments that isn't opened, yet, I think most of the stuff have arrived safely. I am sorry you had to wait a while for new updates, but I am sure you are going to find it worth the inconvenience, after you have looked around. NOW FOR THE BIG NEWS: Please welcome the two new staff members of SMN & SimSnobs.. ELSTONE a well-known and loved skinner in our Sims Community. She is the creator of AETHERSIMS and had, up till now, worked at SIMPLY 4 FUN with Monica. She is not only a great artist, but also a lovely lady to know. SMN & SimSnobs are very fortunate to have her on our staff!! You will notice that all Elstone's skins are not up yet, simply for the reason that there are so many hours in a day, but I promise you that they will eventually find their way here. You must thank her for the Skins department's opening at SMN & SS, without her it would not be possible! CINDY is our new walls & objects staff member. She is a free- lance artist that has posted creations at TSR and is also a staff member of SIMternational, who is by the way, having their grand re-opening this week-end. Make sure to go and see what a wonderful job Ran and her staff members did. Cindy is also a wonderfull lady to know and to work with and her creativity amasing! PLEASE take note that, instead of a guest book, you can go to the FORUM (Also thanks to Elstone who took the chaos of the nondescript previous forum, and made an organised worth to visit forum. There's some wonderful help & guideline links posted. I t is easy to find your way, as the outlay is well-planned!! Do make a point of it to go and have a look, you will miss something if you don't.!! I tell you, the lady is a star! Thank you Elstone! I hope you find your visit enjoyable. At Info you will find direct links to all staff member's mail addresses. 13th June For those who discover the new site beforehand by chance, please note that I am still in the process of publishing & updating. 6th June I am in the process of moving SMN & SimSnobs to a bigger home. Please don't despair...I am going to try and do it with the minimum disruption, so hold thumbs and wish me good luck. Once we are settled in the new home, there's going to be LOTS of SURPRISES and NEW GOODIES for your Sims! I will give you the new address A.S.A P. 4th June I am going to take some objects down for restoring, but I will post it again. It might take a little time as I am working very hard to open a skins department, as well. I am also in the process of buying web space for SMN & SimSnobs. I am just waiting for the green light as far as Front Page extension availability at this host goes. The Livingroom Department will be back as soon as I have had time to take a BIG swallow of air! Please be patient a little longer. 1st June June is a very special month to me as it's my first-born's birthday month. There are LOTS of new goodies for you! I have created a real little girl's bedroom, complete with all that goes in such a room; furniture, curtain, wallpaper and carpet, plus a nice Venecian mask for the wall! [ BEDROOM/CHILD] Cherahnna has made us a very nice white window-garden. There is more to come, I just have to sort out some files! Here is some special news: SimSnobs has a new staff member that will create skins. It is a well-loved and well-known skinner, but I am keeping it a bit longer a secret. There is some work to be done before I am going to open the SKINS section, so you will have to wait a bit to know WHO it is! I hope you enjoy the new downloads! 26th May I am so glad to anounce our third Guest Artist Please welcome Cindy who is providing us with true work of art in creating WALLS. SMN & SimSnobs is truly fortunate and proud to have the honour of posting her work and most fortunate to have ALL THREE THE GUEST ARTISTS : CHERAHNNA with OBJECTS & KALHEKA with SKINS. I have renovated the Indian Chair. I actually thought of not posting it again, because I was really inexperienced in object making when I created it, but there was a request to bring it back. So now, after major renovation, I am putting it up again. If you have downloaded it in the past, PLEASE re-download the much better version! 24th May The new window is finished!!! Go have a look! My next project is making a painting of the "Old SimSnobs" theme pic (on request) and making a nursery set...Hey, some Sims do have babies! A special thanks to Kristi helping me to get linked to Best of the Sims as well as announcing the re-opening of SMN&SimSnobs at SPS & all the friends from Sims Addicted that gave me so much encouragement to keep carrying on saving my site! And to my special friend Georgette...what can I say....God bless you all! NOW....for some new goodies! There is 2 very special people that is creating for you SIM-lovers new objects & skins: CHERAHNNA who created the interresting windows & KALHEKA who is providing the skins for the Fairy Godmother, wicked Stepmother & 2 wicked stepsisters! There is a third guest artist that is going to join us soon with some Indian walls. A WARM WELCOME TO THEM! I am working on a new window....hope to finish it before the week-end. Please enjoy your visit as you are so welcome! 18th May Well, here we are again!!!. After long hours of slave labour, I could save my snobs and find them this new home. They were so generous as to invite the mortals to share their space. In the process, they had to give something up, as all the pages of walls etc, but I have tried to bring over the best of the two sites, plus I have tried to make it easier to find a specific item with all the direct links at the side. Also I have placed stuff that belong together, on one page. If by chance you download something that is not shown as picture, please let me know, as I simply could not always remember what all the file names were.
